Priyanka não deixou Boston ver final de temporada de Rookie Blue

Por uma pequena fração de público, a segunda noite das audições da terceira temporada de The X-Factor não liderou na faixa das 20h30, perdendo para uma reprise de Two And a Half Men. O escasso público característico do final da summer-season contribuiu para a queda de 24% no número de telespectadores que a emissora teve no escopo do horário nobre (6,8 milhões, média de 4,2 e share domiciliar de 7 contra 8,25 milhões, 5,1 e 8 registardos no ano passado). Ainda assim, esses números magros colocaram a FOX na liderança.
Prejudicadas pelo fato das afiliadas de Nova York e Boston, respectivamente, terem levado ao ar a partida do Thursday Night Football (que marcou a estreia da indiana Pryanka Chopra na música-tema no lugar de Cee-Lo Green) entre New England Patriots e New York Jets (vitória também magra, 13 a 10 para o time de Massachusetts), CBS (6,7 milhões de telespectadores, média de 4,7 e share de 7) e ABC (5,1 milhões de telespectadores, média de 3,3 e share de 5) ficaram na segunda e terceira colocações. A competição ao vivo do The Million Second Quiz não ajudou a NBC, que registrou humilhantes 3,4 milhões de telespectadores, média de 2,2 e share de 4, na quarta colocação. Por fora, a The CW registrou apenas 656 mil telespectadores, média de 0,5 e share de 1 ponto.
O peso do The X-Factor foi decisivo para a FOX conquistar também a liderança entre os telespectadores na faixa de 18 a 49 anos, registrando média de 2,2 pontos – 0,3 ponto a mais que a segunda colocada, CBS, que registrou 1,9. Na terceira colocação, a ABC registrou 1,4, contra apenas 1 ponto da NBC. A The CW registrou apenas 0,2 ponto na demográfica.

Chopra’s In My City is the New Theme for Thursday Night Football Which Kicks Off Sept. 12 with the New York Jets at New England Patriots

LOS ANGELES, CA [September 10, 2013] – International award winning actress and recording artist Priyanka Chopra will debut as the opening music act for NFL Network’s 2013 Thursday Night Football schedule. Chopra’s track In My City will be featured as the new theme for Thursday Night Football, premiering at the opening of each of the 13-primetime Thursday Night games. NFL Network’s Thursday Night schedule kicks off September 12th at 8:00 PM ET when the New York Jets visit the New England Patriots. “Having grown up in both New York and Boston, two major [rival] football cities and coincidentally the two teams playing the night of my big debut, it’s nothing short of surreal to be with NFL Network as the opening act for Thursday Night Football. ‘In My City’ was my first single, it has a very special place in my heart, and I am beyond excited to bring the amazing energy of the track to the NFL’s passionate fans,” said Priyanka Chopra.
“Each week for 13 weeks this season, NFL Network will move into a new and exciting city and bring fans from around the world with us for a great game. NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football begins each week at 6:00 PM ET with the Craftsman Presents NFL Total Access Kickoff pregame show live from the stadium. The Lexus Halftime Show and the postgame show provide additional analysis live from inside the stadium each week on Thursday Night Football.
This year marks the 8th season of live regular-season, prime-time games on NFL Network. Last year’s edition of Thursday Night Football finished with a record-high per game average audience of 7.3 million viewers, marking the 4th consecutive year that Thursday Night Football has set an all-time high viewership mark for NFL Network. Each week of the 2012 Thursday Night schedule, NFL Network’s game telecast was the most-watched program on cable TV that day.
